Green eyes on a girl?

Well I have green eyes. Not hazel... Pure green. I have got so many compliments on them but I really don't like them.. My friends are like 'I'm so jealous! I wish I had your eyes' and my guy friends are like 'Your eyes are beautiful'! Whats so special about green eyes..? They look like 2 giant boogers ?! To me they do anyway.. Whats your opinion (guys or girls it doesn't matter) of green eyes on a girl? Do you like it? Is it okay? Do you not like it? Also if you give an explanation on why or why not, that'd be great too!
