Why are Republicans so prone to scandals?

It must be a strain for politicians to pretend to be upright, pure-minded, Bible-reading, church-attending, Jesus-praising, pro-life for fetuses, pro-death for convicts, clean and sober, phobic, AND against premarital- and still keep on the right side of the law 24/7... With all that, plus making a profit and sucking up to their audiences, no wonder they don't have time to get a good grasp of the constitution.
