woodchucks couldn't harvest lumber in Eastern Oregon since the spotted owl decimated the logging industry there several years back, not too mention the housing market is WAY down, so there is stockpiles of lumber sitting, waiting to made into a home, kitchen table, or a wooden dilrod.
