87 Monte Carlo vs 88 Toyota Supra (non Turbo)?

Hi, my friend has recently picked up a 1988 toyota supra 5sp manual with the non turbo straight 6. I was just wondering if that would be faster than my 1987 Monte carlo SS with a 5 liter HO. The supra is stock except for an aftermarket high pressure clutch plate and my monte has been fitted with flotech header, has posi, and a new dynomax superturbo muffler.
