Is it ok that your voice kinda cracks?

ok so iv'e been having some voice problems but i think my voice has came together....but theres a new problem ive always had this rough raspy late billie holiday type feel to it....and was always in my lighter emotional singin voice but no its worked it's self to my more louder projecting voice if you will i don't know what to thin but its kinda like fanatasia louder singing voice but my falesto and high coos are still smooth and high but the still have this late mariah carey breathy tent to them and my lower notes
