Why does Christianity promote monarchist thinking (via a celestial king)?

A great question! Sadly I can't say by its nature christianity IS anti-democracy only because this whole country is christian and well therefore the majority rules. I can say without a doubt though, that it forces itself on others. We now live in a society where our laws are based on the bible. I wonder how people in the midwest would start to feel if we forced them to live their life by the Qu'ran. Do you think they would start to grasp that making laws and forcing everyone to live by holy laws is wrong? Hmm maybe I'll ask this question.
